Dream Games, which received the title of Turcorn after Peak Games and Getir, has grown to be one of the most valuable and invested mobile game companies within merely two years. The company was founded in 2019 by former Peak Games Product Director Soner Aydemir and his partners and was able to acquire a $7.5 million investment from Makers Fund and Balderton Capital 6 months after its inception. [1] In 2021, Dream Games managed to receive an additional $50 million from the same investment firms, bringing the company valuation to $198 million at the end of the Series A round.[2] In the Series B round, the gaming company, which reached a $1 billion valuation with a $155 million investment, became Turkey’s third Turcorn. [3] Dream Games’ first game, “Royal Match,” was listed in the top 10 of the best-selling mobile games in the major gaming markets of the United States and the United Kingdom. [4] Dream Games, which increased its valuation to $2.75 billion with the latest investment it received in 2022, has managed to triple its company value in less than a year. [5]
In the mobile gaming industry, which possesses a significant importance in the Turkish startup ecosystem, the fact that another Turkish mobile gaming company has crossed the $1 billion valuation threshold is a source of inspiration for all Turkish entrepreneurs, especially those in the sector.
