Türkiye Metal Sanayicileri Sendikası (The Turkish Metal Industrialists’ Union) (MESS) was established in 1959 and is Turkey’s largest Employers’ Union. With the understanding of “new generation unionism” adopted in 2019, MESS generates projects for the needs that will arise in the future. In this context, MESS has established the MESS Technology Center (MEXT), which is designed as a world-class technology center. MEXT; the nationwide pioneer of digital transformation, provides direct support and guidance to the Turkish industry in digital maturity assessment, competence development and increasing workforce skills, was established in an area of ​​10.000 m2 that includes the digital factory where the latest technologies are exhibited, training classes, cooperation area, conference hall and artificial intelligence laboratory. MEXT Digital Factory is a true end-to-end integrated production environment consisting of two production lines and displaying more than 150 use cases to demonstrate the added value digital transformation creates in production.
